Welcome to the Corkscrew Rail Trail
The Corkscrew Rail Trail is an unpaved public use recreational trail straddling the towns of Stephentown, Rensselaer County, NY and New Lebanon, Columbia County. The trail is open year round (except during deer hunting season in certain marked sections) for walking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobile riding. The trail is on privately owned land and available through the generosity and cooperation of the land owners. Please respect the landowners property and the trail rules at all times so that we may enjoy this trail for many years.
